This is a right observation. It is ineviteable that as BTC falls and ETH rises this correlation comes out. But there is much money transferred at accounts like GDAX that money is moved easily from one to the other. More important is that many exchanges let the people choose which main currency (BTC-ETH) they want to use..like Binance
