Buying at ICO, new alt coin tokens and where to find them. Using your Ether from a browser based wallet

in #ethereum7 years ago

If you have an Etherwallet, link it to MetaMask, in Chrome browser and by using the MainNet option (as pictured in top left hand corner-changing from Local Net which it was on for me by default- just click the symbol next to the foxes head)

You can use your ETH inside https://etherdelta.github.io/#ETH-0x8f3470a7388c05ee4e7af3d01d8c722b0ff52374 ETHERDELTA to purchase an array of token, from TIME to Veritaseum. Some of the like the latter have unique addresses as given above since they are so new, that they are not fully listed as yet.

At the ICO VERI was about 1:30 for ETH, now it is already about 1:8!

I think Etherdelta, like other ICO/token sites is complicated eg OpenLedger, but there are plenty of helpful youtube videos out there to help you. The amain thing is to copy and save all your passwords, masterkeys, keyfiles, private keys etc. I have messed up with one masterkey function on OpenLedger and have coin stuck in my account now- do what I say not what I do. You won't got wrong if you save all the data constantly so you can get back to where things took a turn.

Here, you'll find a resource full of place to go to get information about the latest ICO's
