EthKids: Crypto donations for children, with community rewards
EthKids is an open source non-commercial decentralized protocol for charity donations for children.
Using the dynamic bonding curve model for donations, EthKids tries to solve the problem of short-lasting relations with the donators.
EthKids utilizes several benefits charity donations have with Blockchain technology, like:
- Transparency of funds collected.
- Programmable funds distribution
- Cheap and fast transfers
But with the 'rewarding' token mechanics underneath: every time a donator pledges his giving, he/she gets several 'tokens' in return.
The token amount is calculated based on the 'personal portion' of the donator, higher the stake, higher the price.
The donator can 'sell back' the tokens at any moment, receiving ETH back.
The benefits of this approach are:
- regular donations are appreciated more (higher stake -> higher price)
- quick growing for the newcomers
- everyone growth in ETH when the community grows
