CLASSIC ETHEREUM WALLET HACKED: MASSIVE USER LOSSES

The Web site of the portfolio of Classic Ethereum portfolio has been attacked without knowing the provenance and have taken control of it. This is a customer portfolio system for the Cryptonet Ethereum Classic. This attack took place in the early hours of June 29 to 30 (between Thursday and Friday), when an unknown hacker convinced the support staff at the hosting provider 1on1 to grant control over the official domain of its real owner .

What the hacker did was immediately redirect the main domain of the portfolio to its own server and, in this way, altered the transactions to be able to redirect funds to their own personal accounts.

This attack came to light only a few hours later, once the developers behind Ether Classic warned users to stop the service for now, to avoid potential problems and diversion of transactions.
