Robin Hood of living forever!
I found an interesting article today about Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum, who donated 2.4 million worth of Ether to the SENS Research Foundation. The foundation is a charity funding program with the goal of raising money for research for treating age related diseases.
With that research, the long term goal is to allow humans to live longer, better lives.
This is not the first time the foundation has received a significant donation. Apparently, the Pineapple fund, which is a bitcoin only charity fund, donated 2 million dollars in two, 1 million dollar donations.
I'm definitely hoping that this kind of acts of gratitude will spread like wildfire. With so much bad press out there from governments and uninformed "analysts", it's nice to see a story like this reach the masses.
Who says people involved in crypto can't do good things with their money?

Yeah this is really good.. The donations given are very handsome, I hope they can do some good research and come up with some new results.
I think it depends upon the person, if he is good, then he will invest in good things.

Wow... These kind acts are really needed.. I believe the facilitators of these acts are heroes...Thats the essence of living.. To affect and influence others positively.. Thanks for the post
If Ethereum didn't change (and potentially change even more) enough lives for the better! Not often that smarts goes with wisdom.
If i were rich of cyrptocurrencies I can do the same donation.
He seems to be one of the only few legit guys in the crypto space.
Crypto needs more stories like this .... and more role modes like Vitalik
