HOW HAVE THOSE TOP 10 TOKENS ON CMC BEEN DOING?

It's been a while since I've published an article but here we go. With Bitcoin down from its December top of $19,666.00 with it trading around $7,000.00 it's needless to say that the whole cryptocurrecy ecosystem has suffered and languished. I will try this week to bring an update to my articles published earlier this year about crypto but for the time being lets delve off into the top ten tokens listed on coinmarketcap.com.

I ask the question: How have those top 10 tokens on CMC been doing?

I find that CMC can be misleading if you're not astute in what you're looking for. For example, looking at the Top 10 I automatically strike USDT aka Tether because it will NEVER grow in value, if so not by very much. That leaves nine.

Hunting coins to invest in, to me, requires more than looking at CMC's calculation of market capitalization. Honestly, that tells me squat!
Out of those nine only one is NOT an Ethereum token and that is ONT. ONT has been trading since 3/8/2018 and it has decreased in value by 22.52%. Year-to-date EOS, TRX, VEN, OMG, and ICX have all recorded single to double digit losses.

BNB, BTM, and DGD have increased in value by 146.23%, 129.88%, and 147.66% respectively.

For the last twelve months (not all tokens mentioned below have been trading a full twelve months) each of those mentioned above, with the exception of USDT and ONT, have increased in value:

VEN 917.19%
BNB 10,954.58%
OMG 1636.34%
ICX 518.44%
BTM 418.15%
DGD 1184.02%

If you're looking for tokens to put your money in those numbers above should help you out some. However, don't consider this trading or investment advise. Because it isn't. I like crunching numbers and looking at data and then passing it on.
