KuCoin Ethereum Fork Update (Dec 14th, 2017)
KuCoin Exchange is an exchange for the people. Owning their KuCoin Shares (KCS) will pay a portion of the exchange's fees collected to the holders in addition to lowering trading fees.
Today there was a hard fork from Ethereum, which created Ethereum Fog (ETF). Not much news has been publicized about ETF. KuCoin has taken a snapshot of Ethereum block 4,730,600 and will give the corresponding ETF to holders on the KuCoin Exchange. It is good news that KuCoin will ensure that their users will get the corresponding coins from forks, even from forks that seem like they do not have much potential.
Their main website is http://ethereumfog.org/
They are a Chinese company from the looks of it and aim to become and computing and storing blockchain that will compete with AWS in the future.
It is not encouraging that their website has typos.
I do not believe there is much to ETF, but for those holding ETH in KuCoin they will also get the corresponding ETF. I do not see a reason to buy this, but if you are a holder of ETH, then if ETF gains value then you have gained free value from this fork too.
