Parsec Frontiers - A Space MMO with a integrated blockchain economy
Parsec Frontiers is an online game about humanity’s colonization of the stars and planets in the Milky Way. Starting from Earth, the actions of the players will shape the future of the galaxy, as well as forge their own destiny.
With a persistent game universe and time line the race is on to explore, expand and exploit the riches to be found in other star systems.
A fully player driven economy, backed by blockchain technology, will allow players to mine and refine rare elements, build advanced starships and defense systems and buy and trade resources at a profit on the planetary exchanges.
Everything is trade-able, anything is possible!
The crowd sale started 1 May and will run until the hard cap hits or 30 June.
Soft cap is 2,500 ethereum and there is currently a 30% bonus for backers.

Meanwhile there is a ongoing ship auction.
The Ark's are the first ships which are up for auction, the first auction which was Ark #1 sold for 22,000,000 PRSC.
The value of that calculated with the current 30% bonus is:
1 ETH = 1,390,000 PRSC
22,000,000 PRSC /1,390,000 PRSC= 15.827 ETH
At the moment 1 ETH = 695$

Ark #1 was sold using a traditional auctioning method.
The auction was set for 24 hours and every bid that came after the 12 hour mark increased the timer with 1 hour.
The rest of the Ark's are as said still up for auction and we are currently at Ark #10.
These Ark's are being sold using a so called "Dutch Auction".

"A Dutch auction is one of several similar kinds of auctions. Most commonly, it means an auction in which the auctioneer begins with a high asking price, and lowers it until some participant accepts the price, or it reaches a predetermined reserve price. This has also been called a clock auction or open-outcry descending-price auction. This type of auction is good for auctioning goods quickly, since a sale never requires more than one bid. Strategically, it's similar to a first-price sealed-bid auction."
I was lucky enough to get one for myself fairly quickly at what i consider a fair price.
There will only be 100 Ark's in existence, after those are auctioned off the Nakamoto and Hawking are up for sale.
