if someone were to buy all the hardware for mining, wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy ETH? based on your calculation, you would need to mine for 6 months, before breaking even? unless I missed something?
mining is permanent , buying is your decision also cause the currency may be go up or down , but mining won't cost you anything except the device ...

what about energy consumption? how many KW/hour ?
