What Is Gods Unchained?  

It is a turn-based trading card game on the Ethereum Blockchain. The cards are actually non-fungible tokens which creates scarcity and adds value. The game plays very similar to Hearthstone, however in Hearthstone cards are not tradeable. 

Why Is This So Exciting?

In the Trading Card Game, "MAGIC THE GATHERING," there is one card sought above all others, the BLACK LOTUS. This is because there were only 100 beta versions ever printed. In as recent as 2014, a mint condition BLACK LOTUS sold for 100k USD. This has caused many fraudsters to try to recreate the originals. After all, it's just a piece of paper, right? This is where having a non-fungible token can solve these problems. We know, with absolute transparency how many of each card will be issued. In other words, there is a zero percent chance of buying a fake card. 

But, Why Not Hearthstone

In my opinion, Hearthstone is broken and in need of a replacement. With each expansion they've added, the cards are getting more and more overpowered. Using this as reference, I believe there is definitely demand for a "fresh start" with similar gameplay. The fact that Gods Unchained are using the Ethereum Blockchain to do it, is an awesome innovation.
