Ethereum Classic is not a Scam

in #ethereum8 years ago (edited)

I'm going over why I feel that Ethereum Classic is not a scam and will stay on the market. No matter what your feeling about the hardfork it is clear from the blockchain that ETC has been gaining hashing power and market cap. Right now ETC is trading up past $2 and slowly gaining ground. At the start of ETC trading it was sitting at about $0.50 USD and has since grown in price. I believe the fear of a scam is losing it's foothold on traders and miners alike.

I know many people are worried about a 51% attack but even if half the network power of Ethereum shifted to attack the coin it would only further add power to the coin. Other fears of the "Ethereum Bomb" going off and crippling miners on classic is no danger as the foundation was far away from being able to implement POS on the network. This effectively leaves Classic ripe for miners of all types to cash in on the coins.

TL/DR I'm mining Ethereum Classic, and I don't intend to leave money on the table or lose out in a potential growth of ethereum classic.
