Where will Ethereum be at the end of 2018?
So as everyone else in the cryptospace I like to speculate and be overly bullish on coins that I like. Ethereum was my entry into the cryptospace about a year ago, since then I've traded all kinds of coins, both good and bad. But today I decided to go back to ETH and see where it could potentially go this year.
While the ETHBTC pair is doing one of my favorite patterns, I'd like to focus mainly on the ETHUSD pair. If we take a closer look at it, we can clearly see it's in a upwards trending channel. The lower trend line has acted as support for well over year now, which would indicate it could keep being support throughout 2018.
So let's play with the idea that ETH just glides along this support line all the way til December 31st 2018, where would we be by then?
We would be around the 42K USD mark. And that's being conservative, at least when we're talking about this channel. If we we're at the top of this channel we would be closer to 300K USD.
