I have recently been investigating Chinese ICO offerings that are coming up

This is an ICO for a token that will be run on the new Qtum network. It is basically a Chinese copy of Augur/Gnosis. A prediction market for the World. That being said, more for the Chinese World. China always wants their own, so it makes sense for them to copy what is already on the Ethereum network on to their own networks. And China is great at pumping their own cryptos.

Angel investor Xiao Lai Li is one of the first bitcoin miners and holders in China. Other Investors include those involved with Bitshares, ViewFin, FGB Fund and other big names in China.
