What We Learn and What We Can Do Better in the World of Proofs

It’s been since the beginning of April that I jumped into these Proof of Weak Hands 3D projects. Since I discovered the world of Smart Contacts and Dapps my focus on crypto has changed.

And yes I have a bot. I used Margin trader Leonardo bot that I renamed my Ms. Cleo. Haha. I do understand how to trade and read charts and all that. But that is besides the point of this article.

What I have come to learn is that people want a game they can play that is sustainable. They also want to have fun. And for the most part it’s obvious no one wants to lose.

You know these proof of whatever projects for the most part have been very huge pump and dumps but there are also some solid projects that are working hard at incorporating games to keep things moving.

Here are some projects that I have been in and will talk very openly about. Im sharing this as an observer. And I don’t want to put down anyone’s projects. I’m going to shoot straight from the hip and you can agree or disagree. It’s all good.

Proof of Weak Hands 3D - love em or hate em. They got this thing down. They are still at the top and were only dethroned briefly by Rev1. What makes them tick and why can no one compare? They are the original. They move volume and have volatility and the people who are playing that game have been HODLIng for the longest time. They haven’t thrown in any other game besides FOMO3D into there mix. Even then the game is not completely released yet. They are taking there time and not rushing things.

Pooh, PowM, PoJ, PoG and others modeled after P3D - many tried but many have fallen. It is only now that we are beginning to see the ashes settle and see what is left. These projects pretty much over saturated everything. And than POB.

Proof of Bubble - This was the beginning of the downward spiral. This project scammed a lot of people. And you can blame the downfall of the proofs on this one project. They really scammed everyone and since than no one has been playing these games as actively.

But in the aftermath some new projects arose PoTJ and Pooh. These two projects really got things moving again. But than more scandal.

Pooh lost a lot of trust from its amazingly strong fan base after Fart 1,2 and 3. It just wasn’t going to happen. And a lot of people became upset. And left.

PoTJ. This was the other game to play and they were also killing it. Absolutely killing it getting there smart contract up to 500 ether. And than. bOom. The greed and other projects seeped in.

Than Proof of Community and Halo3D came along. Proof of Community had a great start but was canabalized by Halo3D the following week. And from there we start to see a shift in strategies. Than Rev1 and also P4Rty arrived on the seen.

Halo 3D started with such good intentions but fell from grace. The contract got dumped on hard. And now they are gone. They had the right formula though. Charity, games. And the community. What killed em... games were rushed and it grew too fast. And after that growth and it not being able to stabilize after the dump is what did this project in.

Rev1 came out of nowhere and did amazingly well. A very solid community. And a very beautifully written smart contract with a resident whale. This would be the contract to beat. They are still doing pretty good. But they have there challenges now. Ether in games that people have lost or is stuck. A botched release of war piggies and they had to issue refunds. But I give props to the team for handling the fallout well they are now working hard to maintain and right the ship. Yet at the same time several people have left the community because of what has been going on.

P4rty has just Begun. We need to watch and see where this goes. They have a good business plan and an ideal offline strategy and a lot of customers ready to play. But the question is when? When will they Come? At the time of this writing we wait patiently and we watch closely.

I see potential in 8thereum.io. This is the return of Kenny. After Fart he does have a lot to answer for. People do not trust him and they label him a scam. But give the guy some props. 8thereum is genius and the way the back end is set up and there strategy forward. It’s very positive. Watch them closely. This is Kenny’s redemption project. Do proceed with caution for those who have been burned in the past. Actions speak louder than words. And the project methodology will speak for itself. The Lord forgives and you should too.

Lastly my own personal project, Proof of Community. We came back from 3.4 ether. We still fighting to come back. All I can say is that I am happy we didn’t rush any of our games. Because watching others I have learned so much.

People want honesty. People don’t want there ether lost in an idle game. People do want and need to have complete control of there funds. And the games that are better played are the ones that are instant. Win or Lose. That’s it, so simple.

Proof of Community hasn’t released its games yet. But we are working on it. At the same time. Something is different. It’s time to build a counter balance to the zero sum game where everyone can win.

The choice now is in your hands. Which games will you play. Which community do you choose or do you choose all or neither or one?

It all comes down to the smart contract. Leadership and transparency and direction. Which project has the most solid future? That’s up to you player.

For me... Community is beyond the walls of our own discord. It’s about all of you crypto dreamers.

There is no right or wrong path. Do what works for you.
