Will Ethereum ever reach $10,000 in price

in #ethereum7 years ago

Well, if ETH reaches $10,000, with the roughly 94 million tokens in circulation, then the Ethereum blockchain market cap would be valued at ~$1 Trillion USD.

Considering the World Economic Forum estimates that 10% of GDP ($8 Trillion) will be stored in blockchain assets by 2025, I think it's reasonable to think that ETH could hit $10,000.

A lot can change in 7 years, especially in blockchain, but that figure doesn't seem too outrageous.

Probably - unless there are more bugs in those smart contracts and there is another massive theft.

What you say makes total sense. However, that is the problem with using market cap valuations and comparing it to the present cap of existing currencies/markets. When you look at a $70T world GDP, hundreds of trillions in derivatives, $8T in gold, etc....it is easy to substantial almost any value.

ETH most likely will be one of the long term platforms. That said, we are already seeing other apps built upon it with their own currencies. Yes, by running on top of ethereum, the network will have to be paid in ETH.

Will it make $10K? Who knows. But I do believe ETH, BTC, LTC, and others will be a lot higher in a few years.

Hey @brothermic of course Ethereum could reach $10,000. And it probably doesn't need 7 more years to do it.

Sounds like a good price. :-D

Thank you for sharing this valuable information.
