Big Gap between eth/usd and eth/btc - why???
Any ideas what is going on. In usd ethereum is trading in the $340s, while trading against bitcoin it is trading in the $310s. Why the huge disconnect? Huge volume on Poloniex?

Good question! Most likely have something to do with the ongoing ICO? Someone please further comment, thanks.
It's because btc is on the rise while eth is not, thus the correlation of investment for USD is more accurate to true price, while the estimate for from btc is including some of the expected profits btc will be experiencing in the immediate future.
