La mise à jour du protocole a bien été déployée le 16 octobre 2017 matin sur Ethereum.

Comme prévu, aucune fourchette minoritaire n’a été maintenue, la chaîne " Byzance " est maintenant la seule reconnue par les utilisateur du blockchain ethereum .
