ALERT: Ethereum Classic Lists On Coinbase Today In 30 Minutes!

Alright, so ETC has gone up 13% today in preparation for the Coinbase listing at 5:00. Is the pump over and a dump is incoming, or has the pump just begun? I bought some ETC in preparation for this event a while ago and I'm not quite sure what to do with it right now. I believe I'll hold and see what happens. If ETC pumps more than 50% I'll start dumping it.

Hopefully we don't see what the same thing we saw when Bitcoin Cash was listed... Coinbase had to full on shut down the market because their wasn't enough liquidity and insider trading was suspected. Coinbase has done an investigation and has denied insider trading... but then again, it's in their bests interest to do that.

One thing we have to realize is that ETC exists because the Ethereum DAO was hacked. ETH decided to hard fork and steal the money back from the hacker, while ETC said no, you can't do that. This means that a lot of people will log into their Coinbase account and find a bunch of free ETC there. If you had ETH during the DAO hack, you'll now be granted free ETC. Will people dump it or hold it? Who knows.
