Estonia E-Residency & E-Business Registration TAX FREE

Since 2014 Estonia is giving away e-Residency to everyone. You just have to pay 100€ for the process and you are good to go. The registration is handled online and after a background check what takes normally 4 weeks, you can pick up your new ID of Estonia by the Estonian Government. There they take a photo, your fingerprints and your sign, but that takes only 5-10 min. After that you got your e-Residency ID of Estonia. Yahhooo!!! But for what??

The most interesting part ist that you can open up a business in estonia. That's really interesting for business owner who travel a lot or wanna open up there first business. It doesn't matter where you are on earth, with the e-residency id of estonia, you can sign every document legally in seconds.

Is it safe? Oh yeah, it is. With a 2048-bit public key encryption, you are pretty safe. So with the card you can sign documents around the world. Send and get emails what only you can send or open with your id around the world. You can use it for digital authentification systems. And so on.

What else is interesting about opening a business in estonia? You can do it in less than 20min online. So easy is it to start a business in estonia. You can also open a bank account for free in estonia what I would recommend if you open a business there. You just have to pay a monthly fee of 10-15€ for the post address there, but nothing else!
You can even do your tax return online for your business and the plattform is pretty simple. As well e-banking with your Bank account in estonian. There are a lot of benefits to get a e-Residency ID of estonia and they will expand the features in the future. So better you hurry up and get one.

But how do you get one? Pretty simple. 

1. Go to https://e-resident.gov.ee/ and go to "apply". This takes around 5 min.

2. You pay the 100€ for the card and the process.

3. Then you have to wait until the background check is completed. This will take between 2-3 weeks.

4. When the background check is completed you got a email that you are approved.

5. After 1-2 weeks of waiting your card is ready for picking up. You can do that directly in estonia or in 38 cities around the world.

6. The last thing to do is to activate the certificate with your card. Than you are ready to go!
