IS RWANDA SILENTLY BULLISH ON CRYPTOS? + CRYPTO VS THE BIG 4:

in #esteemapp6 years ago (edited)

Although fast progress and unprecedented feats are being made left and right in the cryptosphere, we still have a ways to go before Bitcoin, Ethereum and the lesser known 💩coins, can reach and be fully embraced by the masses.

Whether we like it or not, in order for this mass adoption to happen, certain big players such as the most powerful Central Banks, are likely going to influence how early, or late, it will happen. If it ever happens at all.

And so far, the 4 most powerful financial institutions, which according to this article, are the The Big Four(U.S Federal Reserve, Bank Of Japan, Bank Of England and The European Central Bank), have made their bias against all that's crypto, pretty clear. And unfortunately, many of the other key players from places such as, Wall Street and other influential firms, seem to still hodl the same mindset.

It's not all bad news though, not all the bigger players are denouncing cryptos, as China is actively looking into birthing it's own crypto and, even some smaller players are starting to get involved. Some of these smaller players include;

Smaller countries, like Sweden, South Korea, and Rwanda, have even put together development teams that involve members of Cardano, Stellar, and IOTA.Source

As you can imagine, I was thrilled when I saw my country, among those trying to embrace this new and exciting technology! Though I believe, it would be even better if they were more publicly vocal about their enthusiasm, like our neighbours and brothers in Uganda.

Also, out of this may rise the question of how decentralised these projects will be. Probably not that much but, for now I think we should only dwell on the positive, which is that, this adds more legitimacy to cryptos! At least for now.

The article, then goes on to make an educated guess on a possible future. It suggests that, although it may it take a while, cryptos will flourish in the mainstrean, and that more likely than not, cryptofiends and banksters will find a way to coexist. Each using the technology for their best interests.

Is that how it will all go down? Who knows. Will Bitcoin & Co completely replace fiat currencies, like so many crypto shillers keep predicting? I seriously doubt that. But only time can tell!!

I once read an article by @mrviquez, in which he gave his opinion, on when cryptos would become the norm. He said 2 or maybe 3 generations from now. I still hope he's wrong and that it will be much sooner, but then again, who knows!

Even the fiat currency did take several decades to be fully accepted and, took even more to be actually recommended.

This might be a long journey but, eventually we'll find out! What are your thoughts about it all?

PEACE!!
