IMHO chatting on the blockchain is not ideal. If you ask, perhaps @pfunk can create a channel on https://steemit.chat/ for you.
Edit: For the reason above we'll open a new chat on an other platform.

I for one appreciate the initiative to keep a chat on the blockchain. It's great for transparency reasons.
Even if you move for now, please keep a look out for @jesta work on creating a forum. Maybe later you can move there and increase transparency again.
Yes, i would prefer keep a chat on the same platform and on the blockchain, other way a Steem linked platform seem to me the second best solution.
I'm asking what solutions is there to keep a chat on the steem blockchain with the possibility to have a high volume of messages without lowing the network performances.

I would be happy to have a chat on your platform, but for now there is no need to open an other chat, interactions are relatively low and the blockchain is sufficient.

Hey, i thought about your proposition, steemit.chat is very great, great work on it ;) but i think it miss a functionality, let users chat without login, for this reason i have preferred set a chat using discord app where users can interact without setting an account.
If you decide to implement this functionality i would be very happy to jump into your platform.
At the moment nearly 6K steemit users use it just the way it is. There's no other way to login for the time being unless if/when we integrate with Steemit.com that will enable everyone to login with just their posting key. Feel free to use the solution that works the best for you.
For now, discord app seem to be the best suitable platform for the Esteem8 needs. If further you decide to integrate steemit or a way to let people use the chat without creating an account , i would be very happy to use steemit.chat platform.
We just set a chat on discord app, it's free and there is no need to login.
