PERSUASIVE COMMUNICATION IN FRIDAY SERMON

The Friday sermons held in the mosques are less functioning. The messages in it have not been able to give a significant change in the behavior of the people and do not touch the issue of the mustami '(listeners). A small survey will assist the preacher in finding this out. So it will make it easier for the preacher to develop an effective persuasive communication strategy.

For that, khatib should trace it through feedback that emerged from the community.

Persuasive focus to pay attention to messages, accept and maintain them. Furthermore, the preacher can produce a supposedly great character, which will indirectly become the opinion leader who will assist the persuasive method.
The success of a persuasive method is inseparable from ethics. Similarly, persuasive in Friday sermons. It should be done with the right goal, packing a good message, transferring the aura of authority, testimony, showing that the listener is part of the description, selecting facts, compelling comparison according to the majority, emotional stereotypes, concealing information leading to false assumptions, and subpersive rhetoric .
Persuasion in the Friday sermon, has a strong and important role and must be carried out in accordance with the principles supported by the public interest as well as the public's right to know and choose. The function of Islamic communication will again show a bright color. Thus, the term "antiques" will slowly dim and eventually disappear from sight.
