January 23- chemo week cycle 6- why we will no longer count the days and made the change.
On my way to the hospital I took these pictures of the migrating fowls. Twice a year we get to view this event.

Today is day 107, and as I alluded to before the counting of the days in order to keep track of goals fore this phase is over. My goals were simple. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and then remission. Now I am looking at completing cycle 6 my last chemo therapy.
Now it is almost time to move to phase II.
Get to 90 days before recurrence (come back)
The time line would be 90 , 180 , year then 5 years.
SCLC is very deadly. Not many people with this type of cancer are still alive 5 years after diagnosis, less then 1%. Treatment can often prolong life for 6 to 12 months,
I have know this from the beginning. Except for me with my organs, spread of the cancer was so bad that 2-4 months with treatment is what I was given. We are at 107 days today (over 3 months), so we can throw the stat of 2-4 months in the trash, just like the other stats we will crush.
These stats do weigh heavy on my mind. They are a force that we have to overcome. Our attitude is important and must be true. Being honest I wrestle with them myself. One way I deal with them is to tract the stats and overcome them.
It’s my way of dealing with them and overcoming them. It is no different then with steem and moving toward becoming a Dolphin. True one is a need and the other a want. They both are a desire, a direction to move to. Something to over come. To conquer and or achieve. Better known as life.
I will answer any and all questions you have. Don’t worry and ask, you will not hurt my feelings. It’s not like I have a hairy wart on the tip of my nose. I do not have all the answers but can tell you what I have been going through.
We are in the second day of chemo for cycle 6. Tomorrow we will complete chemo along with a bone boost.
Then on the following Tuesday we will do blood tests as before only difference is we will be in the monitoring phase.
It has been a long 3 plus months. We have been through a lot during that time.
Your support has made a difference and I will be forever greatful . We still have a long way to go. The positives are far outweighing the negitives for the first time.

Averages are filled with those who fall way outside of them (on both sides). Keep fighting hard and be one of those outliers that gives others hope.
That is the plan being an outsider that increases the % . I want to raise the 5 yr one . That one is brutal to see.
Giving others hope. If I can do this and get through it so can others
Was talking with a friends Mom who stopped by to say hi to all of us at the bar the other night as she was in town. She is one of my "Mom's" and have called her Mom for a long time. Anyways she was diagnosed with cancer 12 years ago and told she had a 3-6 month life span. She had the means to go to a specialist outside the US, wish I could remember where but like I said we were at the bar...lol. But they literally looked at every part of the diet and created a diet that starved the cancer cells. She is still kicking and the doctors say she is in full remission.
One of the key things she said anyone diagnosed with cancer needed to look at was cutting sugars and help bring their body stay alkaline avoiding acidic foods and drinks. This is now all she follows as the 100% strict diet isn't needed. She never did chemo as the results were so drastic after her 2 weeks at this "Cancer Camp". Her term...was kind of funny.
Anyways it's something to look into if you have time.
Look how far we have come in the past 12 years with treatments.
There is so many things that effect recovery. Sugar is a major growth food for cancer. Cancer will also make its own blood vessels to acquire the sugars. Resourceful suckers.
Cancer inhibitors diat is important. My weight today was 230 lbs. thats increadable
Every cancer is different and has to be handled accordingly. And we each have to deal with it on our terms
Such great news. I hope you keep beating the odds. :-)
We are one of the outliners and need to keep it up. Moving the needle forward. Taking one thing at a time
Good job crushing your first milestone! On to defeat the next one!
On item at a time. The wins will add up. It’s a long road and just have to keep it slow and steady
Howdy sir Wolf! I like crushing the stats. facts are not truth. truth is designed to change facts, overcome facts, dispel and destroy facts. Doctors state facts as they know them but God's Word is truth and if the facts are different than God's Word then those facts can and will change to line up with the Truth.
Health and healing is one of our Covenant rights as Believers. God bless you sir!
To a point its a right not a covenant right now
If it was a covenant now and a right then no one would die here. The cursed earth from the “origin sin”
sir wolfhart! it is definitely a covenant right yes sir, I can give you the scriptures but people are dying because like everything else including salvation, it is by faith. But this isn't taught in very many churches so people don't have an understanding of it, they don't know that health and healing was bought and paid for just like salvation and is part of the Atonement. So if they don't know it then they don't even know they can believe for it.
this is something my wife and I have studied for 25 years and have seen many healings, of course there are many different types of healing, I'm just talking about our rights at the moment.
considering the environment its a bit too political but considering what ive seen more than half my family do
its personal then
there's no words for it, everyone just has to deal with it on their own terms
i guess it comes down a lot to the people around you
just ...
its not over til its over
there's no false hope
its usually over
mainly because medicine has no time or requires too much money but
its not
until it is i know someone not too far from here who survived while in most biblical cases people would say he shouldnt
i think its a waste of time to spend time thinking on something thats not in your hands
you should just do what you wanna do
In order to do what I want to do I have to cover all angles and get through this. It also has an effect on others that has to be considered. There is no one shot cures all.
I never thought you had a hairy wart on the tip of your nose, but I do wonder about that nipple. ;-)
You have a great attitude. Keep strong and keep Steeming.
#freethenipple is a tag that help fights the oppressed. We all must do are part and help the oppressed asylum seeking nipples.
We accept all donations of Steem and SBD in this humanitarian pursuit
LOL 😂
Anything to free the nipples. lol
Ohhh you know it. Whhhahahaha
