I will respond with two responses.

When God created Adam and Eve, He created Man in His image, male and female. One Jewish commentary said, that man is not truly Man, unless he marries. Remember, God said it is not good for man to be alone. So, my first response, based upon this view is yes.

The second view comes from Aristotle the philosopher. He said, that if a man finds a good woman, they get married, they are happy together and are in love. They help one another and grow old together.... this is good.
On the other hand, if that man finds a woman, they get married, and she turns out to be a nagging wife, who treats him harshly, and they are not happy and not in love, this is good too!

Why?

Because man becomes a philosopher!! :)

So the answer based on both views is yes!
