Best foods which helps you to fight aging

High 5 to all my deer steemians, hope you all are doing great.

Today I will let you know some useful tips to remain healthy and to fight aging.

Eat well for a long and healthy life thats what we are aware of bur what are the foods that make us to achive that goal. So I'll give you guys an overview of the healthy and nutritious food.

It has been researched that in three countries Monaco, Japan , Singapore people are more healthy and have highest life expectancy and the important element in that is eating healthy foods.

Often we find people praising about superfoods having highest nutrition and whatsoever but scientists rejected them the buzz term "Superfoods" as it influence people on putting high expectation on it. In reality it takes you more time in maintaining healthy life style and eating good food.

Lets talk about the foods playing a role in fighting aging.



Soyabeen has been a staple food for many people in Asia but its gaining popularity on western side. As it is nutritious and well know in fighting against aging. Benefits includes:

  • Contains Isoflavones ( Contains phytoestrogen)
  • Antioxidant agent
  • Ant-cancerous
  • Anti inflammatory
  • Slow down cellular aging
  • Fight microbes
  • Reduce risk of breast cancer

Tofu (Soyabeen Curd)


Tofu is a white chesse like product made up of soyabeen curds. Linked to a wealth of health benefits. It is found to he cooked as the typical eastern dishes. It can be fried, baked or boiled.
It is rich in Isoflavones which I have already mentioned above and its properties. It is also a good source of protein. It contains all the essential amino acids that our body need to synthesize protien.
It is rich in minerlas like calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper and manganese. Tofu has such minerals which keeps our teeth and bones strong. It can make you feel fuller for longer which helps in slowing down aging.



This common ingredient, best known in its orange variety, is famously recommended for its high content of beta-carotene, a pigment — and carotenoid — that gives the version of this root vegetable its splendid color.

Carrots have the ability to protect against age-related eyesight damage.

Beta-carotene can be converted by our bodies into vitamin A, which, "is involved in immune function, vision, reproduction, and cellular communication." Our bodies cannot produce vitamin A on their own, so it must be derived from external sourcre that is our diet.

This pigment is also an antioxidant that can protect the cells from the aging damage caused by floating radicals.

Moreover, research has shown that foods rich in carotenoids and, of course, carrots are a prime example here, can protect against age-related degeneration, the vision damage caused by old age.

Citrus fruits


Citrus fruits are the heroes of healthful diet which includes Oranges, grapefruit, lemon, lime and many more.
They have been cited in connection of long lifeline.
Well they are mostly recommended by the nutritionists as it contains hight content of Vitamin C, which has antioxidant properties.

Fruits are highly enriched with:

  1. Sugar
  2. Potassium
  3. Folate
  4. Calcium
  5. Copper
  6. Phosphorus

Citrus fruits have Flavonoids (Compounds which are helpful against cancer, they also fight against obesity)
Drinking "Shikuwasa" Typical fruit in japan, juice rich in flavonoid content has also been linked to better liver health and prolonged lifespan.

All of the above mentioned foods are appreciated for their significant healthy outcomes. But we must be extra careful in maintaining balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

So, keeping our list of nutritious foods in mind, make sure you follow the healthful diet that is most effective for you!
