Howdy trudeehunter! well these are magnificent birds, shockingly soft and feathery looking. Yes if you picked on up they'd have to be soft I'd think! I never knew there was such a thing as beautiful chickens! lol.

I'm glad to introduce you to these beautiful birds my friend.

Howdy this morning, at least here it is, it's a beauty too, sunny with mild temps. I think it's summer there right? Anyway, that was a great post and I'm glad to have learned about such an amazing chicken and I never thought I'd put those two words together! lol.

Summer is most definitely here @janton She has made her very uncomfortable presence felt in her usual sizzling, relentless manner. (lol)

Howdy again trudeehunter! oh really? how hot does it get there anyways? Hot here is 110 F which is 43 C ..is that they kind of heat we're talking about? and is it humid too?

Yes, that is the kind of heat we are talking about plus more. It's worse when the humidity levels are high and when the temps don't drop low enough to give proper relief.

Howdy again trudeehunter! dang, I didn't know it was so hot and humid down there! How about on the South side?

I'm no expert on Australian weather but generally speaking, the further south you go the colder it is......during winter, more so than summer because extreme temperatures can affect a large part of Australia. Tasmania, which is the island state at the southern part of Oz has had severe and devastating firestorms to contend with before.
