Artist Bio: Grzegorz Domaradzki, aka ”Gabz”, was born in 1979 in Poland. He is a graphic designer who creates posters and illustrations, with a focus on film & cinema. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan, Poland, where he currently lives and works. After receiving his MA degree, he devoted himself to (broadly understood) illustration and computer graphics. At first, he worked for several reputable advertising agencies, thus, gaining the experience necessary to start working as a freelancer, which he has been doing since 2005. Apart from illustrations (both press and portrait), Gabz has been creating alternative posters for various blockbusters of world cinematography. His screen prints decorate the houses of collectors all over the world, and his work has gained a large group of dedicated fans. He has presented his works at many foreign exhibitions, and his group of clients includes Marvel Studios, Warner Bros, 20th Century Fox, Paramount Pictures and various other global brands. His works are characterised by academic skills, sense of colour, attention to composition and detail. Gabz is no stranger to traditional tools (pencils, markers, oil paints), but he also tries to fully use the potential of the latest technology by frequently combining traditional drawing with computer processing and by creating fully digital graphics often adorned with custom typography. He is a rapidly rising star in today's movie poster and art print scene.
