Understand species of insects

On this 65th occasion I personally will invite all of you to see some scientific insights concerning one of the species that we often encounter in our daily environment.

Our discussion in this post concerns the types of insects, why I chose them, because glancing while observing the life and characteristics of insects is very cool and fun, if you do not believe it, try to examine one of them, of course you will be happy with it and later you will further explore in trace it.

In the past I did not like to read about them, especially if they were mentioned in scientific language, so I always indirectly ignored what was written about them, but when I was on one of these platforms I unconsciously always tracked their whereabouts and wanted find out more about their lives in this world.

Finally, indirectly get something very valuable about them, for several months getting to know each of these types of insects and based on the articles of colleagues, so I can conclude the explanation they have experienced in their daily lives.

So .... Then I will introduce them to you through this social media called steemit or esteem. Here are some things about them that I have summarized and also took some of the results of the insect experts' research that have been concluded.

1. Definition of insects

Insects are one type of animal that has several body parts such as head, chest, legs, tail and wings. Insects themselves are classified into one of the most diverse groups of animals in terms of shape, size, color, and behavior. Then their existence is widespread in all parts of the world no exception in the forest, in the countryside, or even in urban areas, they include more than one million species and represent more than half of living organisms known to man, and of course many of them have not shown its existence or its characteristics.

2. Classification of insects

Basically, insect species are divided into two groups, such as

• Apterygota group
• Appendage Group

This Apterygota group is very easy to know, namely insects with sizes below 5 mm, this species does not have wings and the process of occurrence does not undergo metamorphosis like butterflies and the like.

Whereas the Appendage group itself has a prominent body part and is very interesting when met. Parts of this body tool can be moved and functioned as a means of movement, such as used for eating, or for listening. Whereas the habitat of this group apterygota is often found in humid locations where it contains humus, and is very fond of playing in every rubbish classified as organic waste.

3. Its presence can be detrimental to humans

Every insect species present in the human environment whether in the countryside or in the urban area has a different impact, sometimes its presence is detrimental to humans.

As the existence of species such as caterpillars, red grasshoppers, ladybugs, odeng, and other species that live and develop as pests for plants, so they often interfere with crop farmers. It is said to be a pest because its presence can make crop failure and other things such as disrupt human health such as flies.

4. Its presence is beneficial to humans

Then in addition to the presence of insects that can harm humans there are also beneficial insects, their existence is needed and expected because it can repair damaged ecosystems even in a small capacity.

Such as the presence of bees, butterflies, and red ladybugs. The presence of bees can nourish the human body by consuming honey, honey which is owned by bees is one of the most potential ingredients of all things, not only can cure diseases suffered by humans but the honey can strengthen the building as has been done by people ancient people.

Likewise with ladybug, although the shape is small and tiny, their presence can repel insect species that become plant pests.

Likewise with the presence of butterflies, it is also very beneficial to the surrounding nature, because its presence pollinates all flower plants both wild and ornamental plants.
