Cyanthildium cinereum
Cyanthildium cinereum also known as small ironweed and poovamkurunnila in Malayalam is a species of perennial plants in sunflower. This species comes from tropical Africa and tropical Asia. This plant is commonly grown in an unkempt place like an empty soil that is not cleared of wild plants.
Cyanthildium cinereum is commonly known as an annual weed, with a variety of geographical distribution, not difficult to find this plant because it is the same as other weeds grow wild in the open places, not many know the function and usefulness of these wild plants because most of us assume this plant is just weeds (plant pests) for other plants. I found this plant in an empty field covered with shrubs, this plant has a small purple flower, yet this flower is not a high attraction for the flower-lovers because it is considered a pest.
