Dishub Bantul make sure the readiness of traffic infrastructure ahead of going home

The Transportation Office of Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, ensures the readiness of traffic facilities and infrastructure on road segments to face the homecoming and returning flow of Lebaran 2018.

"We have carried out checks on traffic and road infrastructure and roads on both main and alternative routes, all in a ready condition," Bantul District Transportation Agency Head Aris Suharyanto said in Bantul, Friday.
Traffic infrastructure includes traffic signs including road signs (RPPJ) and traffic signaling equipment (APILL), then road markings and control and road safety devices.

He explained that although traffic facilities and infrastructure are ready and functioning well, it will deploy field personnel to monitor and make improvements, especially APILL in case of damage.
"Repairs to damage APILL standby for 24 hours, then repair of damages LPJU (general street lighting) as Bantul during the homecoming and return Lebaran 2018 also standby 24 hours," he said.
Aris said, during the implementation of homecoming and return currents 2018 will also be provided temporary traffic engineering tool that will be placed in the main and alternative path if there is vehicle current density.

"For the traffic engineering tool we provide 80 barriers of water and 300 traffic cones, and then 40 portable guide signs," he said.
Aris explained that during the commencement of homecoming and Lebaran, the Ministry of Transportation also prepared the main and alternative routes in Bantul and monitor the congestion-prone points in Bantul.

While monitoring on tourist roads, he said, conducted in a number of points to tourist areas such as Parangtritis tour, Mangunan fruit garden, pine forest in Dlingo and Bukit Bintang in Piyungan.
