Ridwan Kamil's Design

Ridwan Kamil won the 'Designing Competition of the Aceh Tsunami Museum' organized by the Aceh-Nias Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Agency on August 17, 2007. Reflecting on the tragedy of the 2004 Aceh Tsunami, Ridwan Kamil created a hill-shaped garden that can be used as a rescue site if the disaster occurs again in the future. The sloping roof is meant to accommodate residents.
