Frequently dubbed “the Venice of the North,” Amsterdam’s canal-veined city centre is flooded with picturesque waterways.
Some 165 canals flow through the city, with over 1280 bridges guiding visitors across them. Some bridges, such as Torenluis Bridge, date back as far as the mid-17th century.
