NEO Earth: Rebels (Part Three)

Codde finally manages to get to the cafeteria after a long and ardous "journey".

"I never thought that a trip to the cafeteria can be so dangerous and exciting," thought Codde wryly. "Forget let's just find something to eat."

Entering the cafeteria he notices that the whole place is a mess. Pans, plates, glasses, and silverwares littered the ground. The chairs and tables are turned over and left over foods makes the mess look worser. He also saw that the "antique" pay phone that is their school cafeteria's trademark.

He remembered that he and his classmate often played with it whenever they're eating at the cafeteria. And yes, the pay phone is actually working. Well, the phone itself is just a copy of the original pay phone as those antiques only exist in museums nowadays.

"I hope those guys are safe..." Codde whispered. "I better find some food before these "terrorist" visit the place."

Ignoring the mess Codde went straight to the kitchen and looked around. Seeing the mess, Codde could only shakes his head. The kitchen is not much better than the dining hall. He then went to the refrigerator and saw that it is still running. Seemed like the "terrorist" didn't cut off the power.

Taking a bottle of water, Codde drink quickly.

"Phew! That hit the spot!" He exclaimed. "I never thought that a bottle of water would make me so happy."

After drinking some water he looked at the pots and saw that there are some cooked food inside. Smelling the food, he noticed that it was still warm and fresh. The smell of food made his stomach rumble again, so he quickly took a spoon and ate from the pot itself.

Several minutes later he finished eating and and let out a sigh of delight. Looking at the pot with much food left, he contemplates if he should be taking take-outs but decide not to. Instead he left it there and took some breads and energy bar. Then, empty one of the bags lying around and put them inside along with several bottles of water.

Though Codde contemplates on staying at the cafeteria until the situation is settled, he thought against it as the "terrorist" will most likely visit the place later to get some food. After all, they needed to keep themselves and the hostages feed.

"Too bad the cafeteria doesn't sell nutri-packs. They're great for situation like this as they are light and can be stored for a really long time," complain Codde in his mind. "Well, this breads and bars would have to do for now."

As Codde was about to leave, he heard the door opening. Very quickly he ducked and crawl towards the kitchen. He looked around and saw that the only place he could hide is inside a cabinet where pots and pans are being stored. Carefully opening a cabinet he saw that it was full of items. He quickly opened another one but it was the same!

"Shit!!!" Codde cursed inside his mind.

But before he could curse some more, he heard several foosteps getting closer. Panicking he opened another one and was dumbfounded. Inside the said cabinet is...
