Aristolochia Gigantea
Aristolochia gigantea adalah pohon yang dapat memanjat 20 meter tetapi biasanya tumbuh 5-10 m tinggi. Kulit batangnya seperti gabus dan sangat beralur.
Daunnya berbentuk hati, tertutup rapat dengan bulu putih di bagian bawah, berukuran panjang hingga 15 cm dan lebar 11 cm. Warnanya hijau cerah yang indah.
Bunganya muncul secara tunggal atau berkelompok pada lot yang lebih tua. Mereka memiliki bentuk pipa dan panjang hingga 30 cm dan lebar 15 cm. Warnanya merah tua dengan urat berwarna krem. Mereka menyebarkan bau bangkai untuk menarik lalat untuk penyerbukan.
Buahnya adalah kapsul, panjang 8-13 cm dan lebar 1-3 cm, yang terbuka ketika matang untuk melepaskan banyak biji.
