Flat Measurement Using Total Station
Total Station is a measuring instrument designed to measure slant distance, horizontal and vertical angles and improvements in topography and work geodesy, technometric surveys, as well as for geodetic application task solutions. The measurement results can be recorded into the internal memory and transferred to the personal computer interface.
The nature of the range is unmatched, the speed and accuracy of measurement. The number of stations developed in view of the user's maximum work convenience. High efficiency electronic tachometers are intended for decisions
It has a wide audience for sole industrial problems.
Total Station is also used by archaeologists to record excavation as well as by police, crime investigators, private accident reconstructionists and insurance companies to take measurements of the scene. The total station is an electronic theodolite (freight) integrated with an electronic distance meter (EDM), plus internal data storage and / or external data collector.
The purpose of each survey is to prepare the map, the control point forming the basic requirements for the preparation of a map.
Because Total Station contains smooth and rugged electronic components like the usual Theodolite. They should be packed and transported with care, handled gently and carefully removed forming their cases.
There are many other facilities available, the total station can be used for the following purposes.
- Detailed survey of data collection.
- Control Survey (Traverse).
- High measurement (Remove measurement-REM elevation).
- Fix the missing pillars (or) Arrange out (or) Stake out.
- Recections.
- Account Calculation, etc.
- Remote measurement (RDM) or Missing line measurement (MLM).
