Jacaranda Trees
There are many Jacaranda Trees in and around Benalmadena. Their main period of bloom is from late April to May. Some trees bloom twice, but the second bloom is never as full and beautiful as the first. They are really beautiful when the the whole tree is covered in blooms.
The following two pictures were taken by my friend in early May.
I took this in early June after I have arrived.
The trees bloom at different times, some earlier, some later. So, through the months of April to June, you will see Jacaranda flowers in the area. You might see some blooms in July, but it would only be the odd branch or so, not the whole tree.
