Burung Dodo
Dodo adalah jenis burung yang hidup di Mauritius, pulau di timur Madagaskar, Samudra Hindia Meskipun termasuk jenis burun, ternyata burung Dodo tidak bisa terbang, Burung Dodo terakhir punah pada 1680-an.
Ia punah sebab perburuan yang dilakukan oleh para pelaut yang berlayar ke pulau Mauritius, Selain itu, banyak hewan yang dibawa pelaut, seperti kucing, babi, dan tikus memakan telur burung Dodo.
Jadinya, telur burung Dodo juga jadi bahan makanan hewan lain. Sehingga menyebabkan burung Dodo punah sampai sekarang jarang ditemui.
