CHIMAERA: THE GAME CHANGER

"Chimaera is an ecosystem for blockchain development and game currency/asset management."
And that, is a perfect, if technical term for it.

To the layman ( and I see myself as one), think of an online world where you could create games if you know what you are doing, or could play games created on it and on which all rewards you get can be exchanged between users, just like in the real world. If that's still difficult to understand, look at it this way:
In real life you have companies who create jobs for you and I for which we get paid. With our income we purchase what we need and sell or trade what we already have. Similarly, the developers make games for us to play for which we earn rewards which can be traded for the CHI cryptocurrency. Chimaera is the platform that makes this possible. While this might not be an entirely correct image of the dynamics involved, at least you've got a clearer picture.

With that picture at the back of our mind, you will agree with me that there is endless potential in Chimaera. Let's explore one or two together.

I am certain that the feeling of "oh my gosh, they will pay me for playing games" that I felt when I first heard of Chimaera is bound to be contagious and is going to take the gaming world like a storm. Imagine all the gamers out there who spend quality time in front of video and online games being told their hobby is a way of earning money. To be honest, I have never been that interested in games before but Chimaera has got me wondering if it is not too late to start playing. By offering users this opportunity, Chimaera will be making those who see playing games as time-wasting and unproductive to view it as a hobby potentially worth the time expended on it.
Trust me, when mom and dad hear of this, alot of kids will be having their traditonal video games replaced by those on the Chimaera platform.

Has anyone thought of the fact that not only gaming but education too, could benefit from Chimaera? I once read a novel in which kids get their education through Virtual Reality(VR) where they get to play role-acting, take part in normal classroom activities as well as play games and for this, they earn credits which they gain access to on attaining a certain age. I guess Earth is getting closer to that stage. With Chimaera, educational games and apps could be built which rewards students for good performance. This could be the change we need in our educational sector. If students can be shown that performing well pays literally, education would be taken much more seriously, and at the same time be much more fun.
Suffice to say, the concept behind Chimaera is on its own enough fuel to power the engine driving the evolution of all we think possible.

Which begs the question, How is Chimaera going to keep up with these demands if push comes to shove?
Halleluyah! It is a blockchain. Which means it does not get to suffer from server overload or stuff like that thanks to the fact that it is decentralised. So transactions are secure, you do not have to worry about it shutting down anytime soon since no one has the master key to the entire system and with the introduction of Game Channels, it's a done deal.
In the words of the Chimaera team on the issue of scaling,
"We have developed an extension of the payment channels in Bitcoin that can be applied to game moves between multiple players off the blockchain and thus aid in scaling Chimaera to its global target size. The same concept can also be used for "shards" of a global game world to enable limitlesss and near-real time gaming on the blockchain."
Let me round this up with a succinct evaluation of Chimaera by itself:
