Telaga Biru Tangerang, Blue Water Lake Similar to Lake Kaolin Belitung

Being right on the west side of the capital city of Jakarta, Tangerang is less so ogled wissatawan. But who would have thought if this city has a pretty beautiful nature tourism, the Telaga Biru Tangerang. Telaga Biru is similar to Lake Air Bara in Central Bangka, it's just a little smaller area.

Telaga Biru Tangerang formed as a result of sand excavations in Kampung Cigaru. Or more precisely in the Village Cisoka, District Cisoka, Tangerang District. It was this former excavation which then made a large puddle and filled with water. Over time the water changes color to blue and looks beautiful if photographed.

If Telaga Biru Tangerang is photographed from a height it will be seen that in this area there are two lakes. Each has different color gradations. Where one lake is blue and the other is rather greenish.

Aware of the potential of tourism, local community began to seriously work on this area to make it more interesting. For example, start a spot to take pictures and attractions up gethek or boat dar bamboo to down the lake. With so tourists who come do not feel bored.


To go to Telaga Biru Tangerang, tourists can ride KRL with Tanah Abang - Maja and get off at Tigaraksa Station. From this station, tourists can take angkot with majors Adiyasa - Balaraja and get off at the junction of SMAN 8 Cisoka. If you have arrived at this t-junction, you can continue your journey by foot or take a motorcycle taxi to get to the lake area.
