Silat Nasional Perisai Diri, or abbreviated as Kelatnas Indonesia Shield is a self defense martial arts organization founded by R.M. Soebandiman Dirdjoatmodjo on July 2, 1955, in Surabaya,Jawa timur.
Silat Nasional Perisai Diri contains 156 elements of silat flow from various regions in Indonesia coupled with the flow of Shaolin (Siauw Liem) from China. Effective and efficient martial arts fighter, both empty handed and with weapons. The practical method in Self-Shield is the practice of Serang Hindar that produces the slogan "Silky Silat Without Injury".
