Splashing by - Poetry
An Illusion,
It seemed so,
Of happiness or,
Maybe more.
No blame to be placed,
Try he did,
With all heart,
Weakened by foolishness.
Unclear mostly,
Clouding thoughts,
Those emotions raw,
Heard them while they could.
It wasn't easy,
Dust flying around,
Right ahead of pure water,
Splashing happily.
Who knew?
Who could?
How could they?
Been a decade,
And over,
Yet time could struggle,
But never heal.
The scar of that,
To be carried in the heart,
For a lifetime.
Never of value,
But counted it not,
It was here to stay,
Like a curse unleashed on all.
