In the Distance - Poem
It was a satisfying snicker,
One you could fear or smile at.
Most may remain that way,
As a choice,
To be picked.
Out in the distance,
Lay a dream,
One that flew with the wind,
That put a pause to the actions every now and then.
A dream is a lie,
A life lived could also be.
What then would you choose?
What if you chose wrong?
Trickery and manipulations,
Remain to entice you as sisters.
Staying clean from the houses,
A demure at last.
Think not more,
But rather in the fear of it.
I like this, thought stirring. Anyways, since a dream is a lie and a life lived could also be......I prefer the former.
Thank you. I am glad that you enjoyed it :)
