NASI GURI -- (THE GURI RICE) ---
Orang Aceh menyebutnya "bu guri". Nasi ini sering dikonsumsi pada pagi hari dan malam hari. Lauk untuk nasi guri biasanya ikan, ayam, bebek, dan ikan asin. Selain itu, ada cabe hijau dan kacang panjang tauco, sambal, dan kacang tanah goreng.

The Acehnese call it "bu guri". This rice is often consumed in the morning and evening. Side dishes for guri rice are usually fish, chicken, duck, and salted fish. In addition, there are green chili and long bean tauco, sambal, and fried peanuts.

Saya menyukai nasi guri karena rasanya enak dan nasinya lembut. Nasi ini dimasak 2 kali. Pertama dikukus, setelah dikukus diberikan santan, daun salam, serai, daun pandan dan rempah-rempah lainnya sesuai selera. Setelah itu, nasinya dikukus lagi. Oleh sebab itu, nasinya begitu lembut dan enak.

I love the guri rice because it tastes good and the rice is soft. This rice is cooked 2 times. First steamed, after steamed given coconut milk, bay leaf, lemon grass, pandan leaves and other spices according to taste. After that, the rice is steamed again. Therefore, the rice is so tender and tasty.

Kami sekeluarga sangat menyukai nasi ini. Saya sering membuatnya untuk menambah selera makan anak-anak dan suami. Biasanya pada hari libur. Pada acara arisan atau kenduri di rumah saya juga sering membuatnya. Lauknya biasanya pake ayam, telur mata sapi dan dadar. Kalau sahabat steemit ke Aceh, boleh mencoba untuk makan nasi ini. Harganya murah dan mudah didapatkan tempat orang jualannya.

Our family loves this rice very much. I often make it to increase the appetite of children and husband. Usually on holidays. In the event of arisan or kenduri at home I also often make it. Side dishes usually use chicken, beef and duck eggs. If steemit friends to Aceh, may try to eat this rice. The price is cheap and easy to get where the sales people.
