Banned by the FBI and the CIA, Huawei's side continue to expand in the US

The United States government has voiced their concerns over Huawei's devices. The Chinese company's devices are suspected of potentially spying on people through their products.

As a result, since 2012 a number of US companies are prohibited from buying devices from Huawei that are considered threatening national security.

However, it does not discourage Huawei to expand into the US market.

Reported by CNET on Sunday (1/4/2018), Richard Yu as CEO of the Consumer Business Group Huawei firmly said that the suspicion of the US government has no basis.

"We are committed to the US market and strive for US consumer confidence by continuing to focus on world-class products and innovation.We will not bargain in terms of that trust," Yu wrote as quoted.

Now, Huawei's products like P20 Pro are in danger of not reaching the US market because of the ban.

US telecommunications companies such as AT & T and Verizon have canceled sales of Huawei's products due to US government appeals.

In addition to Huawei, ZTE products also suffer the same fate. Later, Canada also advised the US to be wary of Huawei products, but the Canadian side did not do the blocking.

FBI and CIA reasons to refuse Huawei

There are a total of six US intelligence agencies calling for vigilance in the use of Huawei and ZTE products due to information protection issues.

It was delivered before the Senate Intelligence Committee.

The FBI and CIA directors also expressed their opinion that recommends the US people not to use suspected products, as quoted by CNBC.

It was suspected of potential suspicion of modifying or stealing information for evil interests, as well as in carrying out espionage.

Huawei Rejects That Accusation

To CNET, Richard Yu rejected accusations from the US side, and revealed they worked with 46 out of 50 global operators.

Previously, Huawei through its spokesman confirmed to consumers, the company does not have the intention to threaten and potentially conduct attacks on cyber security.

The company, founded in Shenzhen City, also thinks the US government is simply trying to hamper their business.

"Huawei is aware of the scope of US government activities that are likely to hamper Huawei's business in the US market," a spokesman said in a statement.

In addition, Huawei also shows that their company is trusted by 170 countries in the world.

"Huawei is trusted by governments and customers in 170 countries around the world and does not pose a greater cyber security risk than any ICT vendor," he continued.
