hopefully you are always happy every day.
on this occasion I will discuss about hotspot.
Hotspot, referring to certain places (usually public places) that have internet services with use Wireless LAN technology, such as high teachers, malls, plazas, libraries, restaurants or airports.
Internet services like this, some are paid and which are not.
Butt we must be careful in the use of hotspots because, more and more available in various public places, but every time a connection on a Hotspot actually harm the PC or laptop itself. Hotspots are unencrypted enclosure networks, so when connected with other signaling area users, they can infiltrate and inflict damage to the computer.
Hotspot History
This concept was first proposed in 1993 by Bret Stewart during the Networld and Interop conference, in San Francisco. [1] With the use of this technology, everyone can access the internet network through their computer / laptop / HP / PDA at these locations of the signaled area available, of course the computer / laptop / mobile / PDA device must have wi-fi technology.

Generally the wi-fi signal area applies using IEEE 802.11b WLAN standardization or IEEE 802.11g.
WLAN technology is capable of providing high access speeds up to 11 Mbps (IEEE 802.11 b) and 54 Mbps (IEEE 802.11 g) within a range of up to 100 meters.
Components for hotspots
- Acces Point is a device that connects wireles LAN technology with eternet contained in computer.
- Access controller is a device that serves as an authentication tool to check whether a user is a person who has rights or permissions to access.
- Internet Link is a device that connects hotspot location to internet.
Type Hotspot
- free hotspot.
- Hotspots paid directly to the building owner.
- Hotspot paid to wifi signal area operators.
Surely a Hotspot is a combination of several types of networks into a single unit, not necessarily provide only one type only. So it could be, paid Hotspot to the owner of the building and paid to the operator Hotspot wi-fi operated on a network.
