Stretching the paper on the subframe
Hi
My artistic and near-artistic audience!
Today I would like to tell you a way of stretching paper on a wooden frame. It is clear that not everyone knows what,s a frame about and for what we need to stretch paper on it. But I will explain ...
This is to make it convenient to paint on paper with watercolors. No matter how you drench the paper, it will always return to a stretched state. Well, and secondly, it is such an aesthetics: it is pleasant and convenient to write on a frame.
So about the process. A sheet of watercolor paper is moistened with water. The edges of the subframe are coated with glue, and then wet paper is attached to it. Its edges are wrapped. Then the paper dries and stretches.
However, this time I decided to pull the paper in my recipe. let's take a sheet of watercolor paper, gently crumple it
Now, let's smooth out the sheet
let's (also gently) wet the sheet
Press the paper against the edges of the subframe.
Be careful with the surface of the paper, it can quickly become covered with pills!
Dry the sheet should be horizontal, away from heat sources.
So, the sheet is dry and stretched.
The last photo shows a capricious pattern of the surface of the sheet.
What will happen on this sheet of paper will see at the weekend
Nice! Please follow up with a second part of this post after the weekend!
I will try to do something interesting. But I can't guarantee it will be a masterpiece. :-)
Yes it will!
Отличный пост! Полезный! Наконец-то)
Буду ждать с нетерпением
