Magic crocodile

In ancient times, on the banks of the River Tami lived a man named Towjatuwa. One day, upset because his wife is having trouble giving birth to her baby. While on the riverbank, he was surprised to see there big crocodile in front of him. The crocodile's back was overgrown with cassowary feathers.

The crocodile greets Towjatuwa with the house. The crocodile also asked what Towjatuwa did in the river. He also told the cause of his anxiety.
"Not to worry, I'll come to your house tonight.I will help your wife," said the Crocodile. Towjatuwa is happy and goes home. He told the wife about the incident.

That night, the Crocodile came to Towjatuwa's house. With his magical powers, he helped Towjatuwa's wife give birth. The birthing process went smoothly. Born a baby boy named Narrowra.
The crocodile predicted that the baby would become a good hunter later. He also advised that Towjatuwa and his offspring not kill and eat crocodile meat. Since then, Towjatuwa promised that he and his descendants will protect the animals that are around the Tami river from the hunters.
