Iris flowers In Greek, Iris means 'rainbow'. This flower is considered to give meaning to loyalty, wisdom, friendship, and hope.
Iris flowers can grow in two places, both on land and in water. Purple Iris conveys wisdom and praise. Blue Iris conveys faith and hope.
These amazing Iris plants come in different colors; blue, purple, white, yellow, pink, orange, red and even black.
Apart from the various colors, Iris also has a variety of habitats. Some species of Iris can grow in the desert, some in swamps, in cold temperatures and many in temperate climates.
