I’ve gone back and forth with breakfast, as the reasons you describe are very beneficial, while I also try to take advantage of morning motivation to meditate or work out. I’ve settled on a bowl of oatmeal with tasty additions, which sits light and allows for activity soon after. Breakfast of champions!

Oatmeal, peanut butter and blue berries...and a large coffee. Works for me and never gets old.
