RE: Antique Doll Collection. Part #1.
Howdy Trudee! that is alot of dolls, 1,600? Wow and they are all in perfect condition right? And they are valuable? And you were jealous because the collection is larger than yours? I thought the photos were great, could hardly tell there was glass there in most of them anyway and the bottom one really turned out lovely didn't it?
1,600 is a lot of dolls alright and apparently most of them belonged to Myrtle. Where she stored them before taking them to the museum I don’t know. 😊
There are a lot more photos so I will have to do Part 2 soon.
I only had one favourite doll when I was young and then gave it away to a Missionaries daughter who’d never owned one before and she spent many years playing with her.
Howdy again Trudee! oh I think dolls are fascinating, especially the antique ones. Part two will be interesting!
That is so sweet that you gave your favorite doll up, that was a a God thing to do though.
Thank you John.....yes, I was very happy to part with my doll and the missionaries daughter changed her name to mine as she was so grateful to own her very own doll even tough it was second hand. .
Howdy again Trudee! Oh that is so wonderfull. We need more people like you in the world. Heck we need more people like you on steemit!
Awwww..... you are such a supportive friend and are truly appreciated John. Thank you for your wonderful comments. 💐
Howdy tonight Trudee! You are so welcome. How are you today and what is going on there? Anything exciting?
Exciting? Well, I did have an enjoyable lunch date with my husband today. We left our air conditioned home to enjoy a lovely air-conditioned restaurant. I can't wait for the weather to cool down.
Hey that lunch date is close enough to exciting! Sounds wonderful. How long before it cools down there? It doesn't really get cold though does it? Just cool?
